Index № 04 — Engagements
Three engagements, written by hand, capped at nine clients per quarter.
This is the studio's working menu — not a service catalog. Each brief below is owned by a senior writer with an average of eleven years on the keyboard. We turn down most of the work that comes through the door so the work we accept reads like it was written by a person who cared.

The Working Menu
Three chapters, each with a defined deliverable, a defined turnaround, and a defined starting price.
Every engagement begins with the diagnostic. Tier selection happens after we've read your brief — not before. Below is what each tier covers once we agree it's the right shape.
-
01
Chapter One
Homepage Rewrite
A complete above-the-fold rebuild for Series A–C SaaS and DTC brands whose current page converts at industry-average or below. We rewrite the hero, the proof strip, the feature row, and the closing CTA — typically in two rounds of senior-writer drafts, then a final polish pass. Median turnaround is nine business days, against a four-to-six-week industry standard. Measured average demo-rate lift across forty-seven A/B tests over 2022–2024: thirty-eight percent.

02
Chapter Two
Brand Voice System
A working voice document — voice pillars, do/don't lexicon, sentence-level patterns, channel adaptations — built for marketing teams who need to scale without losing the line. We audit your existing copy across four to six channels, interview three stakeholders, and produce a fifty-to-eighty-page guide plus a one-hour walkthrough recording. Used by clients including the team behind Trellis AI's $40M Series B rebrand.

03
Chapter Three
Category Manifesto
A long-form, founder-voiced essay that stakes a category-of-one claim — the kind of piece that earns backlinks, sets the tone for an entire brand year, and quietly outperforms the rest of the site on dwell time. Roughly 2,500 to 4,000 words, plus distribution cuts for X, LinkedIn, and a launch email. The format we used for Beacon Analytics in the months before their Zendesk acquisition.
A note on choosing
You don't have to decide this afternoon.
The point of the ninety-minute diagnostic is precisely that you don't have to pre-select a tier to book it. We spend the session reading what's already live, naming what's working and what isn't, and writing a one-page recommendation that names the engagement — or, more often than not, names that none of the three are right yet. The diagnostic itself is paid at our hourly rate and credited back in full if you move forward within thirty days.
If you've read the three chapters above and one of them already feels obviously correct, you can mention it in the booking form — but the senior writer you meet will have the final call. That's the model. The reason the work reads the way it does is that nobody on the studio side is trying to upsize the engagement before the brief is understood.

Questions, answered plainly
What a senior buyer asks before booking a premium engagement.
- Why cap the studio at nine clients per quarter?
- Because every brief is owned by a senior writer, not delegated to a junior. The cap is what keeps the work at the level that earned us the Content Council's "Best Boutique Copy Studio, North America" in both 2023 and 2024. The studio of four has never been larger than eight people and won't be — the model only works if the model is refused at the door most weeks.
- Who actually writes the copy — is it the people on the pitch call?
- Yes. The senior writer who takes the diagnostic is the senior writer who delivers the work. We do not sell a senior pitch and ship a junior draft; that is the practice this studio was founded to replace. Our writers average eleven years of experience and have previously led work at places like Wieden+Kennedy, R/GA, and Droga5.
- What happens after delivery — is there a warranty period?
- Every engagement includes a thirty-day post-delivery window for copy refinement based on early performance or stakeholder feedback. After that, the IP transfers in full — you own the words outright, with no residual licensing, no template clauses, and no requirement to attribute the studio. We're a copywriting studio, not a content-licensing platform.
- What does a realistic timeline look like once we sign?
- A standard homepage rewrite takes nine business days from kickoff to final delivery, including two rounds of senior-writer revisions. A brand voice system runs about four weeks end-to-end. A category manifesto runs about three weeks. We do not advertise rush delivery; the median turnaround above is the median because we hold the line on it.
Still weighing the brief? Send a note to the studio and we'll tell you within two business days whether we're the right shop for it.
