Isis prowled the property of What? dejected. Her two favorite companions were gone. Josh gone for a week in LA to record a music video and Lucky on one of his trysts. Whatever that meant, well Lucky had told her not to ask Adam questions cause he was stupid. She sighed and sat down on a bolder near the gate.
It was the first time since she had been able to become human that he had been gone so long. It had been three days already. She sighed again, being human was so different. Everything seemed to take longer. She stood up about to go back to the house when she caught a familiar scent.
She ran through the gate and nearly knocked her father over. As it was he staggered backwards and had to be supported by Andrei.
"Hey Isis miss me?
In answer to the question she burst into tears. Andrei stepped away from the scene and studied the pair. You would be hard pressed to prove that the two were related unles you knew what you were looking for. And even then you would never be able to identify their true relationship.
But they had the same eyes, not the same color but the same expression, a wide eyed indifference that seemed to look through you one moment and worship you the next.
Lucky was hummming softly stroking Isis' hair and Andrei was amazed yet again at the feats made possible by his 'lover'. His olive skinned daughter borne of him and a cat! He took Isis' former seat on a rock and waited until Lucky had calmed his daughter. She was still clining to him and he led her home and put her to bed where she insisted on having him close.
Andrei put down the small bag he had and left the room and the house going to pay a visit to his other conpanions on the property of What?
A week later...
Josh had returned but Lucky still wasn't happy leaving Isis alone. After a few hours in the recording studio he came up with a cd that he had made. He took out Isis' new CD player and handed her the package.
