So the Midnight in Manhattan was not the only item at Vogue Knitting that was available at the show only. There was also a special Lorna’s Laces colorway available in the Soak Heel packages. While lovely and all Pink and I have an understanding; It goes one way and I go mine. So I was just going to buy a couple tubs of soak’s heel. My friend fell in love and wanted two skeins, but had never tried the soak foot cream and did not want to get two.  She offered to take the yarn off my hands if, I’d be willing to trade some of the yarn she had picked up in Ireland.

Five skeins, two purple, two white, one orange of  Donegal Aran Tweed from Studio Donegal. We did a yardage match not a price one. but I think I will be making a hat, glove, and cowl set, with the orange as cuff/accent colors for everything.

Picking up the mail I got another surprise.

A one yard portable Knitty Noddy. I picked it up on etsy and we’ll see how I feel about it. But it has motivated me to keep spinning so I can ply my yarn, and then use said Knitty Noddy.  Wee!  And with snow coming who knows maybe I will stay inside.  I at least don’t have outdoor plans.

I worked from home today which meant during lunch I didn’t just have malls. There is a shop near me, that I thought carried fiber so I walked over on the way to grab lunch. They were selling Merino by the foot, which I found a bit odd but I grabbed a small sampler pack.

Eight colors, Nutmeg, Mahogany, Black, Toffee, Chocolate, Pumpkin,  Smoke, and  Caramel.  Though I have to clear off the first two yarns before I can make anything of these. And the Bulls-eye batts I still haven’t touched.
