Some Favorites

- What fiber or yarn do you love working with? /Do you have a favorite pattern or designer?

Some favorites of mine. I can’t even pretend that is an all inclusive list, but I can list the things that are at the top of my mind right now.  So yarn? The big answer is Madeline Tosh. The number of times I would squee in delight at a new yarn or color, and Then see the Madeline Tosh tag was just silly. Every time it was just the color of the yarn calling out to me it was a good bet that it was Madeline Tosh, again. There were gorgeous yarns, colors, fiber mixes, but Tosh was the difference between ‘Ooo that’s pretty, I should take a closer look’ to ‘I’m already holding a skein.’

I was tempted to buy in every kind. I was lucky I got away with the pashmina, and worsted alone. That worsted will soon become a cable hat.  Pashmina I really want to combine with another two skeins and make a a cardigan for the spring. White, grey or black. Or something.  The last yarn I would buy just cause it was pretty was Malabrigo. And I found a few more skeins of that in the stash clean up on the first.

Favorite Designer? Remember Kitman  I would lock her clearly in the favorite category.  Another is Ysolda , I mean Little Red in the City, Whimsical Little Knits 2 & 3. Oh and Vivian (I’ll finish that eventually).  Also Goodreader and the Little Red PDFs are a match made in heaven.

And I leave you with some yarn I got ages ago on sale, deciding to step out of my comfort zone that I still don’t know what to do with.
