So I’ve started the lantern scarf. Death is done and I’ve started on Fear which is causing some issue but I worked it out on the subway today so that should be going well. Next up is Hope then Rage.

3/27/09 – There it is cast on with my graph paper chart of what will be knit. And my nice color printout of all the different corps.
Does anyone actually use the name Glitten? Do these actually qualify as they don’t have fingers? Anyway I’ve made this pattern so often I have it memorized, and can make a pair in a few hours. This is the most recent of the bunch finish months ago (as I was giving it to the owner as a late Christmas/birthday gift thing) but I finally took a picture of it.
Mittens
According to Ravelry I’ve made them 11 times. Scary since I only own one pair. But It was the project I learned to knit on the round with and how to cast on mid project.

Red Lantern
is a bit higher 26 rows than anything else. So possibly 25×30. We’ll see when I cast on.
The Black Lantern will be first likely followed by the Sinestro Corps. Death and Fear…TARDIS need I say more?
Tardis
This is the first Tardis, flat, and waiting for me to find a darker navy bulky yarn (may need another knit picks order) to work in the detail. But as it was recognized last week at the castle I think it came out well. The Geek cred at the castle grows in leaps and bounds.
I also hit School Products, and got Karabella aurora 4, in navy, blue, black, and white for the 3D tardis for M. And went to The Point and found a good brown for the Daleks. Tempted to make a red one, even if its never been seen in the new series. I have til June to figure that part out. 
Back from knitting group at the castle. One of the new beers this week Kasteel Rouge was made of awesome and I likely had way too much of it. But I have made it home and my experiment in lace knitting seems to be going well, though I have created a hybrid pattern from the Mesh Pattern 1 and Mesh Pattern 2 from my Vogue Knitting Stitchionary V1 and my own vague memory.
When will I stop believing I can memorize a pattern even if it is only 4 rows, 2 of which are purl and 4 stitches, SKP, YO, K2tog, and K1. Which technically is from both patterns…

In other news I have knit a Tardis (flat) and will be starting a 3D one. Once I find my USB I’ll post pictures.
Now to be clear this scarf has nothing to do with the Graphic novel, you won’t find it anywhere, or any color scheme that resembles it. So why is it a Watchman scarf? Because I got the yarn on 3/6/09 and the needles (you are now looking at the proud owner of the Knit Picks interchangeable needle set. So far they work great, seamless add on and all. I got the metal set despite my love of wood for $59.99.
Finished Dad’s hat its SuperHUGE not quite sure why gonna run it through the dryer and making more hats to figure it out. Why not frog it? Because I’m stubborn and its been bound off.

Braided Scarf with a red and black twist. And the extra joy? the red/black section goes right around the neck and is extra warm just in time for the latest snow storm.
