Well back at NYCComicCon at the DC area I saw this.
And all I could think was I want it! And hmm I could Knit that. Yes I knit during panels, even Torchwood. I’m happily addicted.
Well I hit Knitty City and am now the proud owner of every color necessary to make a double Knit Lantern Corp Scarf.
Some of it is from the Justice League scarf . But once I get more black we’ll be in business. And once I make patterns for the the various symbols. Then maybe I can give Marvel some love.
In no particular order, projects that I am planning on knitting from scratch and creating a pattern. They may become scarves, blankets, or bags, maybe even a sweater.
Every once in a while I do knit normal things . Like this hat. Simple black flip top with cables. For dad. Let’s hope he likes it, cables might be too fancy for him.
The Pattern is South End Knitter’s Hat By Amy McElwain which is available on Ravelry.
Well the next double knitting scarf will have to wait until I get the rest of the yarn colors I need. But for now I’ve stared on a more inspired project. I blame USM 21: War of the Symbiote.
So the beginnings of the carnage scarf. Braided cables and my favorite colors how could I not do it?
A home for my knitting and other hand crafts with a Fandom twist. Because this was only the beginning.
